Never really thought of fishing would be my second addiction (Motorcycles are my first love). A co-racer treated me on a 3/4 day trip to Catalina back in 2006. My very first fish ever was, believe it or not, a "Dorado". Was hooked ever since. I now own a boat, a kayak and I even fish of my waverunner. Just love it!

Sweet bro! Back before I bought my boat, I was looking to get into some sort of amature racing also. Needed a hobby bad. Always had a sweet spot for the track and boat racing. Let me know when your racing in town and maybe I can round up some of your SCO bretherin for a day at the track to root for you. Good luck!

P.S. Do you keep any extra hot babes in your pit to share with your fishing buddies?

I keep my boat in the Dunes Marina in Newport. Hit me up if you launch there so I can come check out your ride. Did you catch any qualifying fish for the TAT this weekend?

Dude thats priceless! I have been thinking about rigging a ski for the last year. Love it! I was just reading about a guy in Kona that does this also and has some nice billfish to show for it. Who needs a center console...

Briliant!!!!!

That guy in Kona (Wil) inspired me on doing this. My boat has been parked for months now being neglected, jetski fishing is just a hoot! Im in the TAT tourny and will be posting reports from the ski starting this friday at Cat. Island. If ya need help rigging up a ski, let me know.

Damn!!! That's insane. I would love to check that out sometime, I have a couple of yaks down at my boat but I haven't done much fishing off of them. I have seen some sick fish brought in by yakers though and I'm starting to think that its the way to go if you want to consistently pull in these home guard yts and wsb around here.

Torpedo, that wave runner set up is classic!! Have you tried it on threshers yet?

Got a blueshark ~6ft during the MDR hali derby. I'm planning on a recon for Mr. T around DP, Newport  or La Jolla in the coming months. My only T was caught in LJ last year on a yak (128#). Fishing T's off the ski should be a lot easier thanin my kayak.
