F4B Been hitting me up lately for some shorewalks. Over the last month or so we have both been working hard and have had conflicting schedules. We decided earlier this week today was gonna be the day no matter what. We headed out about 11:30 to our spot down in long beach. Get to our spot {yes Berzerker the turtle spot} it was the highest tide I have ever see there. Water/current just ripping. We were both using a 3/8" leadhead with a 4" "boogietail" and the water/ current wouldn't let it hit bottom. After a few cast we switched to heavier lead and my second cast i'm on with a nice 14" spotty.

F4B follows up with a legal spotty as well.

We walked down the bank and fished for another 30 mins or so and we both ended up with another spotty each.

The real point of this trip is another freakin tie trip for us, oh yeah thats right F4B had the tie breaking fish on, yeah a nice 24+ inch halibut right at the shoreline and farmed it. HAHA sucks bud!! Thats why we need to start carrying a net/ gaff.
