The long story went out on tusday with my step mom's boyfriend out to the same area 277,152 area I was out in that area the weekend before , looking around ,seamed real real fishy lots of life.

 Put the jigs in the water on the A-bank and broke out the gyros and started glassing just outside of the 277 the port rigger goes off the 50w starts playing that music that every angler loves to hear ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ,the fish rips off 200 yrds of line in a heart beat!

 Got Rich into the stand up rig got the boat into position. started clearing all of the other lines. By this time another 100 yrds has dissapered, off in the distance the Marlin starts doing a tail walk

and leaps out of the water three times the hook was set ,Im thinking cool  first marlin on the board!!! Wooo Hooo put Rich out on the bow rod locked in Cool Were marlin fishing !! Got back 175 yards of line then the fish takes a hard run to port SHIT,Shit SHit Reel reel reel, Rich dammit Rich REELLLLL,

 The Marlin jumps about 75 ft to port with all kinds of slack line then distaster!!! The thing that all hate the marlin went deep and the rod was not bent Dammmmm It

a few min later the jig comes to the surface, with no fish!!!

Oh well all I can say is it was very cool for the first marlin hooked up this year on the Brayden-J we  fished a couple of paddys  and hooked a Yellowtail and farmed it at Gaff , Should have gave Rich a lesson at the dock about the proper way to gaff fish.
