F4B and myself went for a shorewalk today again since yesterday we did pretty good. Both of us had our cell phone camera's charged, tat card in hand and a variety of plastics. Hit our same spots as yesterday and of course nothing!!! WTF??? I tell F4B screw it, it's time for a duffy trip. We hop on a duffy at the bay boat rentals in los alamitos bay and were off. Told the guy put me down for 2 hours. We are in 1-1/2 hours without anything but 5-6 lizard fish and I look at F4B and tell him were gonna park under this next bridge for 5 mintues and throw our pastics and if nothing happens were done. Times up. First throw from F4B and this DIC*HE&* gets hooked up. 8lb test and next thing you know he's getting spooled. Reel up my rod and put the Duffy express in gear and start chasing the thing down. F4B is flipping out "I got a big one" "I got head shakes" he screams. After about a 15-20 minute battle of fighting what we are thinking to be a nice legal butt, F4B's got the fish up and down and is slowly winding in his fish. I see color. WTF???

HOLY SHIT!! just a hair under 29" WTF? My dream fish!!! quick circle back to under the bridge throw out and whatta know double hook up for me and F4B. Only these were brown brown color bass.
