Launched out of LB with Silver Ghost on his boat approx 6am.  Headed over to Long Beach Bait and got some sardines and struck out to our usual bass area.  Water was calm and glassy with temps around 64*.  Our 1st drift over some structure produced a 12'' calico (released).

Our 2nd drift over the same sport produced a nice size sand bass.

That spot went quiet after that.  Did some hunting around other structure marks we had in the same zone and pick up a couple more sand bass.

(Right before I caught this guy the Ghost was asking why I'm always scowling in my fish pictures.  Show I decided change it up a little for this one)

After that the bite shut down.  We did some hunting around on a spot a few miles away that we never fished.  Had some trouble finding the exact location of the structure but when we did the wind had picked up and our drift was too fast.

Headed inside the harbor to do some halibut fishing since the wind would give us a fast enough drift.

Got set up on 63* water and the first drift scored a 28'' flatty.

Did several more drifts for nothing.  Packed it up off the water by 5pm.  Thanks again to Silver Ghost (Gary) for a nice day on the water with friends.
