I'm on a mission!!

F4B is scouting for bird activity.

We set out on a mission for the flatties. Duffy, F4B, OFER and plastics. We head out to our

new "Secret Spot" that you can only get to with a Duffy. Set up on our spot, water was a dark murky green with strong current. Dropped in our 4 lines and set the Duffy into trolling speed.  In the water for about 18 mins when my rod goes bendo. F I S H O N!!!!! Thats right, targeted species.

F4B does a nice job getting the fish on the boat with the net since it was a close one, 22-1/2". Photo worthy and a quick release to be caught another day. I get the Duffy nose back into the back bay current and we both drop and strart trolling again. 20 mins later F4B is on with a cookie cutter.

We continue on our mission, I get 3 more shorties 15"-20" all released but F4B was the shorty king with a total of 8 halibut from 11"-19" He looked at me and asked if we were halibut fishing or sand dab fishing. Good times fishing with a good friend. I ended the day wth a second legal for myself.

Total count was F4B = 1 haibut & OFER = 2 halibut.

Interesting choice of uphostery colors for the 2 of you to share.
