Went out with Doper4Life for a halibut session Sunday morning after the storm passed. We decided to pass up on the Bait Barge and went out by Izors reef, found the birds working the morning squid. In about an hour of drifting we had 60 to 80 pieces of squid for bait all during daylight on meter marks. We went inside the harbor to our normal areas an started bounceballing. Water was murky green to reddish in some areas, but as we worked we found some cleaner stuff at 57 degrees...burrrrr.Pretty soon D4L had a biter that was just short. I get bit bit but it was a flounder. We ended up with 1 fat sculpin released, 1 flounder, 7 lizardfish, 6 short hallies, I got 2 legal fish that went 27 and 29 inches and I dumped a legal that Doper4Life had to the boat by trying to bounce it instead of gaffing it...Doh?&#@&! Sorry bro. retty good day considering right after the storm and all the dirty water flushed into the harbor. Til next week.

very nice report and pics !
You guys are so dialed in,
from finding and making your own bait,
to producing quality targeted fish.
and extremely generous with your gear and catch.
You two really make an awesome team.
And we all know how lethal you are solo !!

It was great seeing you guys on the water.
Thanks for all your help and advise.
and the fresh fish.
YOU GUYS ROCK !

Spark..
