Went solo Saturday because I found out late that D4L was feeling poorly. Launched a little earlier to run outside a little and jig up some squid at daybreak. Had another SoCal'r, Gameover come out after I found some and he jigged some too. I got about 40+ pieces in a hour along with a couple of mini macs. Ran into the harbor and started in the area with all the rest of the SoCal'rs, Spark(solo), Silver Ghost with Hell's Angler, Gameover and friend, Homer with 3 others on board. Soon I decided too find some cleaner water as this didn't look so good. Thankfully Homer had not told me he had a few in the boat already or I would have stayed.
Good thing I moved, was all alone when the first one hit the deck, about 30 inches. By the time I had 3 in the boat Silver Ghost and GameOver joined me in the area. Soon number 4 was in and Homer came snooping around. Got number 5 just before noon. Hung around an talked for awhile as it got windier. I was later informed by Homer that his boat and crew finished as the last boat in the area, the breeze had layed down an they had 7 including a couple of nice ones. Mine were 1 at 24", 2 at 25", 1 at 30" and 1 at 35". Nice limit of Flatties, solo, except for all the friends around. My only photo
