Met up With D4L at 5:30 am for some more BounceBalling. We went and jigged up some squid from the same spot as the last 2 times in the daylight, about 50 pieces again. Headed into the harbor to work an Area with SoCal member Homer. This guy knows what he is doing and got about his business. Water was 58 and green. We caught alot of shorts, but ended up with 5 legals, 3 that were 24" to 26", a 30 incher and a 32 incher. Not a bad day for most. The 3 smaller fish were bounced onto the boat and released later after photos as we have plenty of Halibut at home. They were kept in the baittank till moved to the deck for the photo.

 

 

Homer (far right), Jeff, his brother (far left), and Frank (middle) had eight legals on board when we left them still fishing including 5 going 35 to 41 inches. I was Skooled by Mister Ol Skool.
