Well i needed to get the new to me skiff back on the water, to proof check all the recent boat work i have performed.
So i talked the wife into a harbor type cruise.
Launched the boat at sunrise with only 2 rods and some frozen squid.

After checking all the recent work, I am glad to say all is good with the boat.

This was the first time for  the wife to be on this boat.
So after a few pointers, she was tearing up long beach harbor area like a pro.
Boat performed flawlessly under her control.( She likes the new ride )

But as far as the fishing was concerned.
My 1/2 arsed effort only produced lizard fish..
No halibut this trip

But all in all, having the wife as my captain all day was priceless !

its all good when the boat performs the way you want it to.

Glad you got out with the wife. Did Boggs get jealous?
