It looks like it...I caught five that day...3 makos and 2 blues. I think that was the blue that was being bit by a small 35lb mako while it was being reeled in. I can tell by the small bite mark out of its back. We got the stinger hook out safely, and he was returned to the ocean, as was the small mako. I have a video of the double hook up. It was pretty cool.

Any damage to the lower unit? When those blues panic and start to roll...it is kind of freaky. I am really big on getting hooks out prior to release, so I bring the blues onboard and wrestle with them a bit till I can get the hook out. I know kind of stupid, but I am a junky for excitement.

We will have to meet up out there pretty soon...share some tips and what not, and maybe a beer!

Talk to you soon

And I do realize now that the blue does not count...but I am hoping I get credit for the two makos photo, even though I caught three and let the third go without getting a shot.

Guess I should have read the rules!!!!
