Here is the latest :
August 19th to the 21st, 1.5 day trip, on the Coral Sea. I want add here what an awesome operation the skipper and crew of the Coral Sea runs. The skipper Mike Pritchard and the 2nd captain Brad were extremely competant and very hard working. You guys know that I've been on Chemo for months and these guys really went out of their way to make me comfortable. They had a special bunk for me and let me board the boat a little early so I could get comfortable. When the skipper Mike noticed that I was getting a little shaky he politely suggested that it was time for me to lie down for a while and I took his advice. It made all the difference. I would highly reccomend this boat and all the guys on it at any time. The deck hands Emerson, and Nathan and the cook Chuck were stellar. the grub was really good and there was tons of it all day long...... The water was still cold from the 1st of the month and all the boats were showing limits of albies. The day before I showed up it started to warm up again and the fishing changed. Fair fishing 75 fish for the boat, 3 fish for me, 2 YF and 1 skippy. The next day the Coral Sea was reporting limits of YF.

SEPT 1ST thru the 2nd, 1.5 day trip on the Jig Strike. Killed it. Over 200 fish for the boat, the captain is report limits of YF, but the boat only had 16 people on it.... It was nonstop, wide open fishing from 5 am until 9:30 pm. I put 16 fish on the boat. 2 YT, 1 Dodo and 13 YF. If you really like to fish hard with an old school, die hard captain and crew that just never gives up, knows everyone in the fleet and just charges all day long, you have got to get on this boat. These guys catch fish, make no mistake about it. Again I was treated very well, by Chuck and Deanna Taft. Deanna made surte that she told Chuck I was sick and again I got a nice bunk and was helped out a lot during the trip. If you can get a spot on this boat (they go very quickly) do not hesitate to fish with Chuck. His son Bubba and cook/deckhand Scotty worked their freaking asses off to try to keep up with the gaffing chores and are just great guys to fish with. This is not a boat for namby pambys. Come ready to fish all day long..

Note that the fish reach the top of the rail and they have only unloaded 1/4th of the hold!!

Just starting my pile

Talkin' 1600 points!!!!
