Hey guys sorry this post is a bit late but I was out last weekend and had a great day on the chum bucket with small to medium class Makos. All fish where under 100#s but we had 1 ca
ught 1 released and 3 spitters. I HATE SPITTERS! We dropped chum at about 500' and drifted to about 150' and had sharks around the boat all day. All where Makos. I am going to give it a try again tomorrow so I will let you know how it works out.

If anyone has an island report, I could use one as I am headed out to Cat on Friday AM. WSBs??? YTs???

good luck bro !!
give me a red tide update, as of Tues. the newport area was a bit on the brown/red color out to about 100 feet ,then a dirty green to about 500 feet.
The water was much better down off laguna..

I will be backside from tonight thru Saterday on a friends boat. Try for me on 68 or 72.
