I use fireline but like braid for kelp and reef fishing. i have 12 lb. on my one curado 200d then 6 lb. on my other curado 200d. I always use a 8 lb. leader about 1.5 feet long. that makes the real difference or i would never catch fish on the 12 lb. tell me what you use and what you think about it.... Read More

what are your favorite colors and lure companies. mine are any thing that is manly green, pumbkin seed, chartruese, and baitfish colors. my favorite company is gary yamamoto 3 inch and five inch single tail curly tail swimbaits. the tail moves so well even when the lure hardly moves. that why they catch the fish. my fav lead heads are owner 1/4 and 3/8 ounce. they are the sharpest and strongest. i have bent out other leadheads on big spotties and halibut...
