For those of you who know me already know that I have had my boat in newport for years, but due to the bastards milking us for every last penny and raising the rent every year, I have decided to move to Dana Point.I have fished DP numerous times but if someone can pass some sweet local knowledge for butts and where to catch the bait I would very much appreciate it.. btw: Dana point is 40% cheaper and closer to the fish!!! ... Yellowfin are hit and miss and travelling with flipper. Your best bet will be tues or wed, but they seem to have lock jaw. I have to put on new risers & manifolds so i'm out for a while. I hope one of our members picks up the slack.. keep me posted. slowplay ... Read More
okay maybe not ever,.... but... Swordies 3miles out from Newport, Marlin 7-10 out from DP, Yellowtail and Dodo's so thick you can walk to San Clemente on them. This only happened because I have been out of town... Well I'm back and this weekend will be a long boat ride and no taco meat...
